Projects for the future

A new project being developed is a Wellness Education Center. This will be an opportunity to learn about living a healthier lifestyle. Coordinating the efforts to gather wellness educators into one central location is the purpose of this project. Unlike the fitness and exercise establishments in the area, this center will provide an opportunity to learn about corporate, personal and financial wellness. Healthy eating with cooking demonstrations and workshops, informational seminars and stress management education and practical application of the techniques will be a part of services being offered. Similar to the wellness centers in Oregon, this will be a place where the mission is to "Help People Live Healthier Lives". This educational opportunity will be located in the Berks County, Pa area and is planned to open in 2010.

ENTREPRENEURS’ CONNECTION MEETING

Today's meeting included a presentation by member Chuck Holder. He represents Prepaid Legal Services and he spoke about the benefits of being proactive in having a legal service available to you on a 24/7 basis. Features such as will preparation and identity theft protection are two of the many advantages to having this service. This is beneficial to businesspersons and other people interested in having legal advice and support at a very reasonable cost.

Finding out about businesses and learning about ways to grow a business to unlimited potential is a definite benefit in belonging to this group. As the owner of KEF Consulting, LLC I have learned many tips to help me market my Stress Management Seminars and Health Promotion Programs to reach a wider variety of potential clients. I am also in the process of planning a project to open a Wellness Education Center in 2010 and asking for opinions and advice of more experienced business owners has provided me with valuable insights. My membership in this group has been an asset as I develop my entrepreneurial skills.

Helping Us Grow

Today's discussion at The EC Referral group meeting was very enlightening. Benefits of being a member of this group are not limited to promoting business growth, but also about helping the owner grow professionally and personally. Being a proponent of holistic wellness which involves looking at a person from the mind, body, spirit and emotional aspects, I feel this group sets the perfect atmosphere for continual support as businesses are started and evolving. The energy found within the group is a very positive motivator and each of the members leave the meetings feeling complete and satisfied with what was accomplished.

EC Referral Group Membership Is Valuable

Being relatively new to the business world and wanting to reach a wider population to share the news about healthy living and promoting wellness, has been somewhat of a challenge. After joining the EC Referral group, I found a valuable resource. Members of the group gave me many excellent suggestion for increasing response to the Holistic Stress management Workshops I am presenting. Sharing information on being healthy and preventing chronic health conditions is the main focus of my consulting business KEF Consulting, LLC and EC Referral has proven to be a very good business decision to help me grow my business.
